After a recent computer crash, my PC had to be replaced. The good news is that I have a backup. The bad news is that I had to reinstall the entire creative suite.
I'm trying to find out where the information contained in manage websites is stored. I had a bunch of websites with passwords, server names, etc. stored on the old system and would like a quick way to recreate that information in the new system.
Anyone?
Site definitions are stored in the following folders depending on your OS:
On Windows, the site definitions are stored in the Windows Registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Common\<number>\Sites.
In Mac OS X, they are at Macintosh HD:<username>:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Common:<number>:Sites:Site Prefs.

Did you previously export your site definition settings and FTP data to STE files? That's where you would find the information. I have my STE files backed up on external drives for safekeeping. Go to Site > New Site and import your STE files.
If definition settings were never exported to STE files, you'll need to re-create them manually from saved c-mails or written records.
