Why does Dreamweaver have its own node instance executable?

I am curious why Adobe did not elect to have Node installed as a separate process as all other major IDE's do?  I already have Node running, so now I have separate out of version Node installs?

This is a user to user forum.  I don't think anybody here can answer that question except the Dreamweaver product engineers who rarely if ever visit this space.

I don't agree.  For starters I'd like to gather concencus.  I also think that while it should be an option at the very least, folks should know they are getting Node along with Dreamweaver.

You don't agree with what?   I am not lying when I say this is a user-to-user forum and not a direct pipeline to Adobe engineers.
