Hello,

I am working with a new customed html site. And successfully uploaded it to our new host.   Except for our test pages, which are:

index.html

index.htm

index1.htm

All are marked with </>

BTW, everything else was uploaded without a problem.   Only thing that didn't FTP over were the index pages.

How do I update the pages so I can upload them to the host?

Thanks,

Tom

Your server is designed to work with only one index page at the domain name root level.

  1. Open your Files panel in expanded mode.
  2. Remove index.html from remote server's root directory (public_html, www, htdocs, etc...).
  3. Drag & drop index.html from Local files to Remote server.  See screenshot.

The modified date & time stamps should be the same for both Remote and Local index files.
