AAMEE can't modify packages on SMB

New Here ,
Apr 19, 2013 Apr 19, 2013

I can't modify an existing .aamee file for updates while it is on a Windows 2008 R2 SMB share. I get an insufficient write access error, which is strange considering I definitely have write access to that share. Not an 'issue', really, as I just copy the package to my local computer and modify it there. But I should be able to use AAMEE to modify a package wherever it lives. Bug in AAMEE, maybe?

Hi,

Are you accessing the share from mac machine or windows machine? Can you please provide the logs (PDApp.log)?

Thanks,

I was receiving this error but was able to resolve it by running the CC Packager as administrator.
