I have Acrobat v 10.1.1 & am needing to upgrade my install package to 10.1.4. For some reason when I run msiexec /a acrostan.msi /p acrobatupd1014.msp I get the following error:
"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different bla bla bla"
I get this same error message for tring to update v10.1.1 to 10.1.3, 10.1.2 & 10.1.4. This has worked in the past...why am I getting this error now??? How can I get around it or what am I doing wrong?

I have & I still get the error. Currently, if I use the install file before I do anything to it, it will install version 10.1.1. The first/next upgrade would be AcrobatUpd1012.msp ...correct?

I don't know what you mean by "install file". Install 10.0 > 10.1.1 > 10.1.2 > 10.1.3 > 10.1.4.
See the release notes for versions and filenames.
See the admin guide for cmd line examples.

If I install Acrobat Standard on a PC now once it is installed it is version 10.1.1.

You can't get to 10.1.1 without installing 10.0 and then updating, so I'm lost.
