Acrobat XI updates fail when users' document folder is mapped to a network drive on all my clients. The only way to get the update to install is to point the document folder back to the default user profile directory. This is not an option with the sever hindered workstations I have to deal with spanning multiple companies.

Can you share with us the version of Acrobat(which you want to update) and OS? Also are you trying to update using "Check for updates" or manually applying the patch?
