Application launches but the following error appears when using the application for less than a minute.
Licensing for this product has stopped working.
You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help. (147:20)
I've come across a few possible resolutions explained in the article below, but none seem to work. Has anyone been able to successfully stream Adobe Acrobat 9?

Streaming (application virtualization) is not supported by Acrobat products. It will be supported in version 11.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ben. Are you saying that Adobe does not support streaming until Adobe Acrobat 11 is released? If so, do we know when that will be? We have an immediate need for it and a timeline would be helpful. Thanks again!

Citrix Streaming supports Acrobat Adobe Reader 9 and it should ideally work without issues.
You might be facing some bug but in general Citrix Streaming does support Adobe Reader 9 since quite some time now.
Please check the link below for the streamed column.

Even though the coloum mentions only server operating systems, this works as well on non-server operating systems too.

The only thing that's different about my environment is that we are using XenApp 6.5 and streaming on Server 2008 R2 platform. Any idea if that platform is not supported yet?

There's a difference between Adobe supporting streaming and Citrix saying it works and claiming support. If it works for some or all users, that's fabulous. But the questions and answers on this forum need to make clear who is claiming support for what.

Hi 'dpolishsensation',
I would like to help you out on this.
A little more information is needed though.
Can you mention the exact version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that you are trying to stream?
I understand it is Acrobat 9, but i am interested in knowing the version upto the subversion level.
Regards.

I started with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0, then 9.3.1, and finally all the way to version 9.5 (twelve patches) and still streaming does not work.

Hi,
We checked with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.3.0.148 and as we expected it works fine without any errors.
But the good news is that I probably understand the thing that you have been missing. You need to configure "AppHubWhiteList" in the registry for this to work properly.
Please follow the steps below and I am hopeful that it should start working properly without an error after this:
Please configure AppHubWhiteList as mentioned in this link below under the troubleshooting section:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX125713
This should fix your problem. Please check and let us know whether it works or not.
If you are further interested in reading more about what Apphubwhitelist is and why it is required, i would urge you to go through the following links:

That did it! One question though. When I launch Adobe Acrobat and attempt to convert a Word document to a PDF, it is not shown a supported type. Would I have to profile and stream Word and create an inter-isolation, install Word on the servers I'm streaming Adobe Acrobat to, or can I make it work with the local install on the desktop? Thanks for your help - I'm still need to Citrix streaming, though I do have a Wise Packaging Studio background.
