Hi!

Our Create Cloud users do not have local admin rights on their computer.
Photoshop, InDesign, ... is working fine.
But Adobe Acrobat wants on each opening PDF file a local admin login.

How can i disable that?

Thanks,
Bernhard

Hello,

I hope you are doing well. Please see these articles and try the suggestions: Manage product permissions in the Admin Console

Resolve permission issues with Acrobat

Also, if you are the admin, then you can deploy Acrobat without user-level admin rights via:

  • Adobe Admin Console: Create pre-configured packages with Adobe Customization Wizard

  • Group Policy (Windows) or MDM (macOS): Distribute packages with elevated privileges.

  • If prompted for admin rights during minor updates, adjust preferences:
Go to Menu (Windows)/Acrobat (mac) > Preferences > Updater and uncheck "Use elevated privileges when installing updates"

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
