Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - Error Message

New Here ,
Jan 22, 2018 Jan 22, 2018

The installation gets to 30% then this error message: Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected download issue. We will keep trying but if the issue continues, please contact Adobe support. I'm running as admin and still nothing.

We are on a "subscription" type account where we manage the Adobe CC by assigning a product to a user, then the user gets an email with a link to download the product, which in this case is Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Does the error occur when the user clicks the link to download? Or are they downloading via the Creative Cloud Desktop App?

Please check that your firewall is not blocking required endpoints at Adobe.

I have same problem on Windows 10. It worked previously on Windows 7. Outgoing connections are not blocked. Incoming I can not influence, but there should'nt be a need for such.

How do I get it downloaded? Don't you have a normal package, which can be directly downloaded or provided through my corporate network without any fancy, borked downloaders?

Hi,

Yes, there are direct downloads of Acrobat installers available.

Acrobat Pro Classic – this will require serial number. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-classic-downloads.html

Acrobat Pro Continuous – this will require named user sign-in. https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
