Adobe CC user login loop

Community Beginner ,
Feb 12, 2018 Feb 12, 2018

I have a user licence for Photoshop whose licence on their pc used to be for a different user.

We have removed everything and re-installed cc with photoshop and each time photoshop starts it asks to login assigns the licence and then asks to sign in again without starting the app.

Is there anything I can try to resolve this please?

Could it be a permissions thing. We have the creative cloud desktop installing via sscm and we whitelisted the install (avecto) to allow user to install but recently this is no longer working (we need to login with admin details) (due to Creative cloud desktop update (maybe). So does the application when starting also need to be run as administrator?

Hi melaniea11025725 ,

Try this.

1. Sign out from Creative Cloud Desktop application.

2. End all Adobe process from back end.

3. Now launch PS and it will ask you to sign in.

4. Sign in and then check if the issue is sorted.

5. If the issue is still not resolved, download CCDA 4.4 manually from this link and install it

Download Creative Cloud desktop app

Please let us know the results.

They did the same as above step 1-3 but knew what processes to stop, I think they also changed some permissions on folders (it was all done very fast)

Adobe chat - are you able to expand on what you did step 2?

Michaelb95290936 and Melaniea11025725 do you both a Creative Cloud for Team or Enterprise membership?  If so have you contacted your plan administrator regarding the current errors you are facing?

Another  solution to solve this issue is:

( you need to have 2 accounts )

1- log off from the account with issues

2- login in windows with an administrator account

3- login in adobe CC with the 2nd account

4- log off from Adobe cc

5- login in windows with a user account

6- log in Adobe CC with the 1st account ( the one with the issues).

problem solved.
