I re-installed windows and had to install creative cloud again on my C drive. I had my app install directory to my F drive. So other than CC itself, my photoshop, premiere pro, etc. still exist on my F drive. I want my CC to pick up the already installed versions on my F drive, rather than having to install them from scratch.
I changed the app install directory in CC to the same folder as before on my F drive. Still CC doesn't recognize the installations. How can I fix this?

I followed the solutions suggested in the following thread with no luck:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/creative-cloud-not-recognizing-with-inst...
- Changing the app install directory in CC app to the old directory with existing installs and restarting CC didn't help.
- Changing the app language in CC app to all the different English versions and restarting CC didn't help.
At this point I'm installing 20GB worth of adobe products because such a simple task cannot be done in adobe CC. What a shame.
If you can't tell I'm extremely frustrated because I spent an hour with adobe support whom seem to be as stupid as the bot script that directed me to them. Repeatedly suggesting I install the apps from CC and passing me around. Sigh. Attached the support chat log for fun.

If you reinstalled Windows, you DONT have those CC apps installed properly any more. There's much more to a working app than those files. Pretty sure you'd have to reinstall them no matter what.
