Hi there. I have created a new package from the web interface console for the latest versions of PS, ID and ILUS.

I plan to deploy these to our 100+ workstations via PDQ Deploy.

I have a package for 2018 versions of adobe software thats worked fine for the last year or so. I copied the same steps to create the version for the 2021 versions so I know the deployment is working fine.

When testing, The deployment gets 1.5h in, basically installs all the software and then suddenly fails.

Looking at the Log, This is the reason for failing:

Hi Thanks for your reply.

I have managed to resolve this issue and the package is now working through our Deployment tool. I think the problem was with settings for the deployment, not the package itself. Thanks!

To make it clearer, the issue seems to be:

Hello,

please can you provide more details on the kind of environment you are trying to install this package in? It should not take such a long time to install three applications, so I'd be interested to know the specification of the machines in terms of operating system and CPU, as well as the amount of available disk space.

Are you copying the package to the local machine to install it, or installing over the network? When kind of method are you using to deploy the packages? Please try copying the package to the desktop and double-click the setup.exe to install, so we can rule-out an issue caused by some other deployment method.

Has the Windows shell been replaced with something else, or are there security restrictions in place?

thanks

Dom

I'm having the same error. Do you recall what setting in your deployment caused the issue?
