Following the previous lockdowns of 2020, Adobe did the right thing and extended all free trials to 90 days. As of writing on the 5th of January 2021 the UK has been plunged into another loockdown with schools told to learn from home again however for many students this is going to be extremly difficult to continue developing graphic design portfolios and particularlly for someone like myself. I have a GCSE due in Febuary and amidst the uncertainty it is crucial that myself and fellow peers are able to continue developing the graphics portfolio as it may be used to asses our progress and ultimately for the GCSE. Millions of students across the globe found themselves in this situation last year during the pandemic and Adobe reached out and supported us who needed it in order to continue our education. Please Adobe, our school pays thousands of pounds yearly for your software and liscences, please do the right thing and extend the free trials once again.

Information on Adobe's current response to COVID is here: https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/tips/learn-and-teach-remotely.html

Adobe does still have a program to support schools with distance learning needs, but it has to be set up through the schools. If you need these programs for your school work, I'd contact your professors or the school's IT support. There's some more information here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/covid-19-education-labs.html

If you are an individual subscriber

If you are an individual subscriber and you are having financial issues because of the pandemic, Adobe may waive subscription fees for a couple of months. This is not an official policy and seems to be handled on an individual basis. There is no guarantee that your fees will be waived. You will have to talk to customer care directly and work something out with them. You must already be a subscriber; Adobe is not going to give free or reduced-cost access to all its programs to people who are not customers.

You must be signed in with your Adobe ID and allow cookies in your web browser for this to work.

This is the link to the US website. If you are not in the US, the site should redirect to the page appropriate to the region associated with your ID.

Click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session. Typing AGENT into the chat window should connect you directly to a CSR rather than the AI.

If the CSR refers you to the forums, insist on speaking with a supervisor and keep moving up the chain until you get someone who knows what they are talking about.

You can also search this page for a regionally appropriate phone number for customer support.

Be aware that because of the pandemic, wait times are far longer than usual due to reduced staff and higher demand. Please be patient with the people to whom you speak. Like you, they are feeling a great deal of stress. A little patience and understanding will go a long way to helping you in your particular situation.
