Hi all,
I'm wondering how Adobe handles the update versions. When I install let's say Acrobat Standard 10.0.0., do I then have to install all the updates or is latest update enough?
Thank you very much

If you let automatic updates work, then it is taken care of.
Otherwise, it varies. It is not unusual to see a chain of 10 updates which must be applied in order. Carefully read the description for each one.

Thank you very much for your reply. Is it so that a 10.1.0 update contains the 10.0.1, 10.0.2, 10.0.3 etc. updates?

There is no substitute for carefully reading the description for each update. There is no general rule that can be used to avoid this.

Thank you very much for your reply. That's pretty said but I'll deal with it.

For 10 track:
Acrobat quarterly patches are cumulative. You can apply a quarterly patch to 10.0 or any other installed version
Acrobat out of cycke patches are incremental. They can be applied only to the immediate previous release.
How do you find out if a patch is quarterly or out of cycle? See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html
Same hold true for Reader as well except that Reader patches are cumulative only over the last single dot release (i.e., if you are on 10.0 and want to get to latest 10.1.4, you need to first install 10.1 and then apply 10.1.4)
