AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool Returned with code: 1.

Community Beginner ,

I just ran the command:

/Applications/Utilities/Adobe\ Application\ Manager/CCP/utilities/AUSST/AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool --root=/Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/Default/AdobeUpdates --incremental

on the server.

It gave the following output

Incremental Synchonization chosen.

Processed 1077 out of 1077 items.

Error in 1 items.

AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool returned with code: 1.

For more information refer AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.log at /Users/mutualmobile/Library/Logs .

Any ideas what error code 1 means?

I'm guess it means there were some errors. I posted another message on this forum

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1394780

Error 1 is probably for those errors listed in that thread.

Basically it does not matter what error you get, just run the command again and hope it works fine the 2nd time.

If not try again till it runs fine the 3rd time.

Apart from trying again, one must also individually open each DMG inside the updates folder and confirm if it opens properly. Many dmgs that were downloaded (apparently successfully) were not ... and they reported two errors when I opened them one by one (what a task that is... I'm still doing this task)

Errors reported when opening bad dmg files

1. Invalid checksum

2. image data corrupted

The solution, delete them and then run the command again with --incremental

What a pain this is.
