Hello,
We are deploying Adobe Reader DC on our Win 7 x86 computers and tune the settings via registry keys to achieve a higher level of security.
We want to be able to print "potential insecure" documents without enabling all the other features blocked by protected view.
Is there a way to enable printing in protected view so that one does not have to exit the protected view?
Thank you in advance
Yves

Printing is not allowed in PV in all cases. However, you can trust documents so that they do not open in PV. There are several methods as described in the Application Security Overview — Acrobat Application Security Guide.
One method includes setting a privileged location (file, folder, or host) and routing documents through that location.
Hope that gets you started.
Ben

Hi thank you for your reply,
I'm aware of the possibility to add privileged locations, but in our specific case, we use several applications that generate a PDF (filenames unfortunately not static) in the temp directory and then open it.
So the thing to do here would be to add the user temp folder to privileged locations, which isn't such a good idea
