Another code 205. Needing more information

I am trying to install the creative cloud desktop app at my workplace. It always worked normally in the past. I just started running into a problem where the installer will die at 42% with error code 205. I have read in the forums and understand the implication of error 205. Here is all of the relevant information:

The error happens on a windows 10 Surface book on a wired connection, a Windows 7 desktop on a wired connection, a windows 8 vm on a wired connection, and on a windows 10 surface book on both our secured and unsecured wireless connection. Firewall on or off makes no difference.

The wired secured network has a hardware firewall and a proxy. The unsecured network supposedly routes around both of those appliances.

Whenever i run into an issue downloading something on the secured network I always fail over to the unsecured public network just to circumvent the security appliances and get the download done. This always works for me, I was very surprised when the cloud installer still failed in this circumstance.

I tested my network problem theory by tunneling a VPN to my house and routing the install through there and I had no problems, thereby proving that my problem lies within the network.

I have read the adobe network endpoint page, but the list is very extensive and since I am not the network administrator I don't feel inclined to just puke out a huge whitelist for someone else to do. Does anyone know which endpoints should be whitelisted specifically for the creative cloud desktop app install process?

Another fun fact, the creative cloud desktop apps that are already installed on machines have no problem installing and updating the actual creative cloud applications, my problem seems to lie only in the desktop app install process itself.

Please don't just link me to the generic error 205 pages. I have read every related page I can find and nothing is relevent to me or works. The endpoint list is my best bet I am just hoping someone has a little more intricate knowledge of the installer. I have ran through the DLM and ACC logs, I get no fatal errors and the other errors don't get me anywhere in the forums or google.
