I'm running Mac OSX and I have no idea how to close AdobeCrashDaemon in order to complete an installation/update.  I searched for instructions but could not find any.  Any help you could offer would be great!

I realized that I had DreamWeaver open and I closed it.  I then retried my installation/update and it worked.  So is that it--just make sure that all Adobe apps are closed and retry?

I am fairly new to Mac OS X Lion.  How can I see what applications are running?  Is there an easy way to see that?

Bill,

Open Activity Monitor and it will show you what is running.

Thanks K  - Now all I have to do is find out where CS6's Acrobat Pro is hiding.  Application Manager says it is installed, but I have not been able to open or even uninstall it to try another install. - Bill
