When will it be able to install and run CC for teams, behind an authenticating proxy?
I know it has been a known problem since spring, so it MUST absolutely be the time, to come up with a solution.
Otherwise we have to find another produkt instead of adobe.
PS. It's not an option to turn off the proxy.

Hi Johannes,
Welcome to the Community!
You can add exceptions and open few ports but that sometimes doesn't work, you can check the list below:

So, in some corporate environments there is great resistance ("not gonna happen") to adding these exceptions. Then what?
Many other 'cloud' based applications will see and use the authenticating proxy.
Not CC though*. Why?
Sorry Ankit, the previous answer (and Adobe's responses to this issue so far) is just not good enough.

* Well, you can log in to the CC desktop app and download, just not do a bunch of other things — like syncing — that that CC is largely sold on.

Hi Another Andy,
The new version of CCP is going to launch very soon and it is expected to be proxy aware. I would request to to wait for few more days until the new release.

Just curious when this will be released?

...and will this update change anything regarding the way individual CC apps use (or can't use) proxy setups?

Thanks for your answer.
BUT it didn't help at all. We ahve tried to add allthe adresses and ports you wrote about, but it's still the same fail.
When you log in with your adobe id, it ask for Proxy authenticating, and when you enter that, it ask for your adobe id again, and that is stille running in circle.
Others have told about the new ccp that is comming, but that won't help either. We have many different users off cc, and it is not the same part off it they want, so they have to be able to download the software directly from adobe.
Looking foreward to a solution.

Hi iAnkitkhurana,
Sorry this list doesn't seem to work... When we go to license the software it comes back with a "Internet connection requied for subscritpions" error.
What addresses are missing?
Thanks,
Steve

Can this be right???????????
I have now tried for more than 3 weeks to get a solution for this problem, but every one at adobe just give me the same lsit with port and addresses which should be whitelisted, WE HAVE TRIED THIS.
The problem is still the same, it ask for our adobe ID, then it ask for the proxy settings, then for the adobe ID again, and this keep running in circle.
It can't be right, that adobe don't have a solution to this problem...

Well there goes asking the boss for an upgrade. I came here cause my CC trials can't authenticate.
The IT guys at my company aren't going to add exceptions to the proxy server. Is that REALLY what you're recommending Adobe? They already hate the idea of being dependant on someone's authentication server in order for us to all use Adobe. I heard this: "What if Adobe gets hacked or DDOSd? What if their authentication server is offline for even a day?" What should I say?
Guess we're stuck with CS5 till they figure out a better model. Can I still get CS6 stuff? Does that have any of these problems?

That's right.
If you get the IT guys to add the exceptions, it still dosn't work.
I can only say, better luck next time Adobe..........

Just to put your mind at ease — a little. You may be able to authenticate.
We upgraded to CC (Teams) but are behind a corporate proxy with a setup that is not likely to change. Our proxy setting points to a script which CC fails to recognise and would prevent CC being authenticated. I say would because we can authenticate by grabbing the IP of the proxy from the script and plugging it into the internet settings as below.
I have used the 8080 port.
This allows us to authenticate and download using the CC desktop app, but does not resolve a host of other proxy related issues such as Online Help, Syncing, Kuler etc...
As with everything IT your mileage will probably vary.
Thanks to someone (whom I forget and don't have time to find just now) on these forums for this pointer.

Thanks for the advice Andy. I'm on a Mac - not sure what this Auto Config Script in Windows does or if there's a similar feature in OSX. I'm interested in how other business/agencies/corporations are handling this.
Our team is just going to have to wait until they've ironed this out. It's sad to see the Ankit telling people to add exceptions in every post about proxys.
