Automate Updates on MAC

Hello everyone,

I have a project that I have been working on, but have not found a solid way/answer. I have two Mac labs, that have CC 2015 installed on the machines. I can invoke the RUM fine, and it checks/installs updates. What I am trying to do is automate this process. I want to have terminal open, type: sudo RemoteUpdateManager, hit "enter," type: "password," hit enter. I want this to run every Saturday, at 4pm in each mac lab of around 25 machines each. this is the process to check and install updates on a mac. However, it is not as easy to run a scheduled task on Mac as it is on a PC. I do have a n internal adobe server that each machine is talking to, setup AUSST

Has anyone done this, or do you know a way to do this? I have tried using automator, but each time the calendar alarm launches, it says automator had an error, and closes/stops the process. I am somewhat familiar with Mac, but really a PC man. If anyone has a way to do this, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

RH
