Hi there,
I have a group of end users who have a mixture of Camera Raw 9.12.1, 9.10, 9.8, 9.6, 9.1, and 7.5 that I've seen so far.
These are very busy artists who need to get their Camera Raw plugin updated in the background ie Silent install.
I have tried performing installation of Camera Raw 9.12.1 as a silent install using the option --mode=silent however this does not work.
I really need to work out how to fully automate this process. Further background, we run Photoshop CC on Windows, also running other CS applications like Bridge. We use Puppet to distribute software to individual workstations.
Hope someone can direct me, many thanks!
Hi edwilliamsmelb ,
You can possibly create a package for PS CC 2017 (latest version) and then use it for installation may be via SCCM or any other deployment tool.

Hi edwilliamsmelb ,
Greetings.
You can try running Remote update manager suing Admin/Sudo rights.

Many thanks for taking the time to answer, Rohit! Unfortunately we have tried that, but it doesn't work due to our odd environment - we don't permit net access to end devices, and even when we set up a Remote Update server *with* net access, it doesn't update at all.
Ideally we'd like to see a solution where we are able to involve a silent install, perhaps this can be done manually in some way...?
Thanks,
- e
