You means if I do not use fresh mode , then clients can only just upgrade current CC 2017 version ?

This is exactly that.

When I use fresh mode to download all the new adobe product version , client use creative cloud to install CC 2018; will first uninstall CC2017, and then install 2018; or install 2018 directly, so that the two versions of the CC co-exist in the same computer.

In fresh mode, it will install 2018 without uninstalling 2017 so you will end with the two version. At this point you can

Hi,

Apparently now you can set up your AUSST update server in two different mode:

-Incremental mode: only update for the current version

-Fresh mode: Update and upgrade

However be careful with the fresh mode as it will not delete the old version on the end user computer.

My recomandation is to push a new 2018 package on each end user computer.

Have a nice day

Hi,

you need to launch your AUSST server with this command:

AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.exe

--root="/serverroot/updates/Adobe/" --fresh

[--proxyusername=user_name_proxy --proxypassword=password_proxy] [--silent]

Yes you can with the command i gave you. If your update server is not on fresh mode you will not be able to upgrade your client PC's.

What i did for my 85 user to upgrade from 2017 to 2018:

- My user all have a creative cloud client link to my update server with instalation admin privilege

- i let my update server download all the new adobe product version

- Send an email to all of my user to say that the new 2018 is available

Hope this is clear

uninstall the old version if you gave them the admin priviledge on the creative cloud launcher.
