I had been keeping all of my adobe products on my external hard drive for a while but recently it hasn't been connecting and I think it's broken. Creative cloud won't let me download the products back onto my laptop(where I originally downloaded them and then uninstalled them to add to my drive). Is there some way to get them back? I'm working to restore my external drive but I would like to have these products if I cannot restore my data.
When I try to download I get Error Code 176 but I've triple-checked and it's not a network drive it's just the original drive on my computer set in my preferences.

If the disk containing an app fails, you are in big trouble, as it can't be reinstalled or uninstalled (this isn't just an Adobe thing). Adobe have a cleanup tool which can be used to wipe what is left ready to try again.

Thank you! That did the trick and I have my files back.
