One of our users created a personal profile trial with a business email which already had a issued license.
This caused two accounts to exist on the same email address... Why is this even possible?
Two different accounts... with the same email login... with 2 different passwords. How?
Hence we can't login to the Business account where the actual license resides to use adobe. (Yes you get a prompt to select Busness or Personal but only after you already signed into the Personal one, so selecting Business or Personal takes you to the Personal unlicensed account anyways)
Adobe has also made it really clear that you aren't allowed to delete your personal profile. (Tutorials all show there is a button, but when you go there.... Nope no button shows)
Even when you have removed your trial subscription. Nope still no button.
Second option? Change primary email address to something different? Sure he has a personal account for 2factor verification. Lets remove 2factor for now and add it into the primary so we can seperate the two accounts.
Nope.. "Email already in use" even though email has already been removed.
The back end will probably take 48 hours to remove the email details. Just like how the verification emails to reset password that expire in 15min arrive in 48 hours.
We have already logged a ticket. Will see if this can be resolved.

The way to choose seems to be that the user first enters the email address to sign in, then on the password screen they can choose between business and personal before they type the password. So this is before the sign in completes. Of course, that might not be how it is today, Adobe keep changing it.

The whole split into two accounts or whatever has been truly a train wreck. They told me on the phone today that they've stopped migrating people after only doing about 20% of accounts because of all the problems and pushback. Unfortunately, I'm in that 20% with you.
