CC Packager - No Internet!

New Here ,
Jun 28, 2018 Jun 28, 2018

On Mac running High Sierra 10.13.5

I have logged on to admin console and downloaded the CC Packager, the packager installs but when i select "Creative Cloud for Teams" i get the "Please connect to the internet and retry" error message.

I have cleared the hosts file, checked to make sure that i can access the activation sites, (ping and Pong etc)

I have also tried with a non fire-walled connection to the internet but still the same.

(I can connect and run the packager ok from a windows 10 pc so firewall etc is not an issue)

Many Thanks

Nick

Hi,

I was just typing an update!

Yes, I was having an issue at the signing in point of packager but could sign in OK with my adobe ID etc.

The mac passed all the tests with regard to firewall connectivity etc.

However it si now working!  I found an errant DNS entry within a network setting that was confusing things, once the DNS was corrected all worked as it should.

Best Wishes

Hi,

It sounds like you are running into an issue at the point of signing in to the Packager. Is that correct? Can you sign in elsewhere with your Adobe ID, for example into Adobe.com?

What was the DNS entry you found and fixed? Was this on the MAC itself?  I think we're having the same exact issue.

I decided to package one app and it completed, so it has to be an app breaking it. We will start narrowing it down to the specific app, or apps causing the issue. Seems like this happen every time we update packages. Its usually beta apps.
