CC Team License and already installed CS6 apps Causing conflicts?

Hi,

I have Illustrator CS6 and Acrobat Pro Xl already on my PC as part of Technical Communication Suite 4 (non-subscription).

I have been given a seat on a team license for CC today, and after installing the latest Desktop App, this updated Illustrator to the latest version, even though this isn't linked to my CC license. This may be causing a conflict now, as Photshop, InDesign CC etc are only being listed as Trial versions in the Desktop App, not install. I've checked with the Team License Admin and there isn't an issue as far as he is concerned.

Do I need to Deactivate the version of Illustrator CS6 I have installed and start again?

Hi Marksou,

Illustrator CS6 will not cause any conflict with the activation of the rest of the product . I can see that an activation took place today for your Adobe Creative Cloud Subscriptoin. Can you please update if the issue has been resolved for you or not ?

Cheers,

Kartikay Sharma

Hi Kartikay,

The problem was that I had a personal free Adobe ID logged in to the Desktop app. I removed that ID, got the original invitation deleted and got another invite which then worked when I signed in with my corporate ID. I have experienced issues using Chrome as my browser though, which may not have helped. Chrome displays blank pages when clicking links from Invitation emails and also from within the desktop app.

I'm on Windows 7 running the most up to date version of Chrome.

Hi all, we have a somewhat similar problem. We have a freelance come into our office with his own license of CS6. I want to install Illistrator CC on his Mac Book Pro but It keeps asking for a serial number instead of using our CC for teams Login. Any thoughts? I have loged him out of his personal Adobe ID as well as re installed Ilistrator CC under our corporate teams account but no joy.

Thaks for any help

Mike

I think it's the Desktop app that may be the issue. Uninstall then re-install with the team ID you assigned to him.
