All members of group need to share a set of custom stamps and signature endorsements (reasons). I can't identify any way to export/import stamps and other preference/setup settings. To complicate matters, group are individuals spread thru several companies and some individuals, all with own licenses (typical project includes Engineer (consulting firm), Contractor, Owner (DOT), Inspectors (CEI), and various manufacturers/fabricators.
Is there a way for the designer to EXPORT the custom stamps as file(s) and then the other members of the group to IMPORT the stamps into their copies of Acrobat Pro 9 (or 8)?

I just had the same proble with Adobe Pro 9.0. Unfortunaltey, I couldn't find any way to keep the stamps up-to-date for every member.
All the stamps created in a category are put in a single file located @ C:\Documents and settings\yourname\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\9.0\Stamps.
Notice that C and yourname are different depending on the computer you use.
From there, you can get the files directly related to Adobe. You can also reorder the pages if you want before sharing the file.
The only thing you have to do is to copy the files in the ...\Stamps folder and paste them on every computer in your company. I've tried it and it works like a charm.
As I told you first, the only problem with that approch is that every time you update your stamps, all the employees must receive the new files and transfer them to their local directory. I've tried to look up the settings if there was any way to change the local folder to a shared folder (on your network i.e.), but couldn't find anything even in the windows registry. If someone could help me on that part, it would be very appreciated.

In Adobe 9 you don' t have to keep your custom stamps in "Documents and Settings" folders. Instead, you can keep your stamps in
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps\ENU".
This way, every time you create/modify/add stamps, all you need is to email your co-workers a small batch file or better yet, a self-extracting".ZIP" file, that they can run, that will either "copy/s/o" in the batch file (copy/overwrite/silent) custom stamp file, or "Extract with overwrite" to pre-defined location above the self-extracting zip file.
