Creative cloud fail to update

New Here ,
Jun 07, 2017 Jun 07, 2017

Hi.  I am using WIndows 7 with a Creative Cloud Team membership

I got the Error 201 message when I tried to update.

Then I tried to do the same process in Windows Secure mode with network getting the message that the CC app was damaged with option to repair.

After the repair the application is uninstalled and I am still not able to download and install Creative Cloud from scratch.

The applications will at some point need to get verified which will not be possible without Creative Cloud app.

Where do I go from here?

Moving this discussion to the Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS forum.

Kaif64414708 you can find details of the necessary server addresses and ports that are required for access at https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Creative_Cloud_for_enterprise_Service_Endpoints.pdf.

Kaif64414708 I would recommend using the steps listed in Error: "Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem" to resolve the current error with installing the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application on Windows 7.

You did indicate that you have a Creative Cloud for Team membership.  Have you contacted the administrator of your account to request installation files for the applications you are installing?  If you are in a secured environment then the applications may need be locally installed on the computer.

I'm getting the same error when trying to update Creative Cloud. I get the Error code:201 message. This happens on multiple machines and each user has their own CC account so it isn't tied to a corp account. I have tried running the Adobe CC cleaner and did a clean all. Tried re-installing the desktop app and again i get the Error Code 201. This is effecting multiple users within our company.

Hi Jeff

Actually I have the master account for the Team and I am able to install most thing locally. I installed CC appliation a long time ago.

I ran Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and then tried to reinstall Creative Cloud. It fails at 38% every time now.

Still getting Error 201 (firewalll settings? )

I tried to disable all in startup in msconfig but still no luck.
If it is the firewall that need tweaking I need to contact our external system admin cause I cannot disable/edit this by myself.

Annoying problem since everything worked fine untill the latest update from CC

EDIT: Do I have to uninstall all applications in order to make this work?  I run Illustrator , Photoshop and Indesign for now and I need to finish a project.  I do not dare uninstalling those apps before this is done.

I will add, I have disabled our firewall and I still get the same error message when trying to install/update Adobe Creative Cloud.

Kristenb15514809 if the suggestions in this discussion are not solving your error then I would recommend you being a new discussion with the specific errors you are experiencing and the steps you implemented to resolve the error.  Since Kaif64414708 is in a restricted environment it is unlikely that the solutions they utilize will be applicable to your computer unless you work for the same organization.
