Creative cloud Packager (for PC) not working.

New Here ,
Feb 04, 2015 Feb 04, 2015

I have a Creative Cloud (Design & Web) install that I have put into an auto-installer for distribution to students at my School. (Creative Cloud Packager).  Following the exact same steps, the MAC Installer works fine and when run installs all the apps.  The PC version creates an install package, but when run it only seems to install the Creative Cloud, with all the apps listed on the apps tab as 'Try' trial licenses.  Help!

Moving this discussion to the Enterprise Deployment for Creative Cloud, Creative Suite forum.

Trevorb60175189 the community in this forum should be able to provide additional guidance.  Can you please verify the Adobe software title you wish to install?  We do not currently provide a Creative Cloud Design and Web offering. You can find the list of available plans at Software and services for creative professionals | Adobe Creative Cloud.

Hi Trevor,

If I understand correctly, you have a custom plan (Design & web) for CC app under enterprise education agreement. if so, you can create a package for Adobe design & web CC apps.

I assume when you created a package for WIN OS, you did not select the apps and created a package for creative cloud desktop app only which is selected by default under named license. Can you check your WIN package and let me know if you have setup available for all selected apps in below location.

Package name\Build\Setup

Thanks,

Ashish

Hi,

Yes its the Adobe Creative Cloud (Design and Web).

I did select all the available apps, and the Packager seemed to finish ok with the following screenshot: CC_Finished.PNG

However when I goto install the package on a different PC, all it seems to install is the Creative Cloud, and if I click on the 'Apps' Tab then all the apps show as 'Try' - as if they are not registered, rather than 'Install' or 'Installed'.  Machines I'm testing on are 1:1 non-domained Windows 8.1 PC's, with the local account as Administrator.

I also query why the Creative Cloud install is over 10Gb in size, but doesn't seem to come with any apps.

We have one key for PC and Mac.
