CS6 Looking For License Everytime After Launching CC App

Explorer ,
Oct 03, 2013 Oct 03, 2013

Everytime I install or run a CC application like InDesign or Illustrator, the next time I run a CS6 app I get a message for a license number. So I do and the next screen makes it look like it's going to launch a web browser and log onto my account. But it never does make it to a page.

After I give it the CS6 license, no problems for awhile, but it the need for a license comes back eventually.

Any way to fix this permenitly so I do not have to give it my license everyday?

Thank you,

Ed Wong

This problem seams to have ben solved but now a possible related issue from this fix has come up.

I cannot update any of my applications. (see screen shot)Screen shot 2013-10-07 at 9.19.08 AM.png

With the CC apps I decided to uninstall then reistall and that seams to work. But I would hate to uninstall CS6 and CS5, then reinstall. There is also no gaurentee that any future updates would work because the CC applications are new and there are no updates to test with.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you,

Ed Wong

Hi Ed,

The SLStore contains the licensing informations so it will not affect any application or update functionality. Could you please let us know what this error message says.

regards,

Abhijit

Got it to work.

I used this in terminal:

sudo "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp/core/Adobe Application Manager.app/Contents/MacOS/PDApp"

No more issues to resolve.

Thank you very much,

Ed Wong
