Hello everyone,

First time poster.

Is there a way to incorporate *.msp patches into the cust wizard 8? If not, how can I deploy the Acrobat 8 install and patches to a large number of users?

Below is a list of files I have access to. I know if i had the setup.ini file I could edit it and added the update command.

1031.mst

1033.mst

1036.mst

Abcpy.ini

810.msp

811.msp

812.msp

813.msp

acrostan.msi

adobe_acrobatstandard_8.MUI.mst

adobe_acrobatstandard_8.MUI.exe

adobe_acrobatstandard_8.MUI.ws~

adobe_acrobatstandard_8.MUI.wse

adobeconfig.xml

data1.cab

setup.exe

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to apply the Acrobat 8 patches in a specific order:

The order is 8.0.0 -> 8.1.0 -> 8.1.1 -> 8.1.2 -> 8.1.3 -> 8.1.6 -> 8.1.7

You can skip patches 8.1.4 and 8.1.5 as update 8.1.6 contains the updates.  If you already have an AIP that is patched to either 8.1.4 or 8.1.5 you will need to recreate the AIP and follow the above patching order.  8.1.6 will only install on an AIP that is at 8.1.3
