I want to delete my adobe account, but I can't work out how. This is the best article I can see:

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/delete-adobe-account.html

When I sign in, there's no "Delete account" on option on that page. When I try to chat to support, it says I need to refer to my organisation, but this is a personal account unattached to an organisation:

Thanks for the reply; unfortunately nothing listed on the Plans page either (screenshot below).

This account has never been part of an organisation (it's over 10 years old, I don't even know if organisations existed  within Adobe when it was created?).

It goes into an online Acrobat application. The only account management things in there direct me back to the pages shown above.

use twitter/x to contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

Thanks for the suggestion - I tried tweeting at Adobe but will try AdobeCare instead.

Unfortunately the chat doesn't work - I get the popup saying "contact an administrator" as shown above 👆
