Hi
We have a problem to deploy Adobe Acrobat Pro DC in or environment. Our client are Windows 7 Enterprise x64 controlled by AD and SCCM 2012.
When we are deploying or doing a manual install the PDF printer is missing.
After some test I found out the following.
Microsoft has a function that you can add device path in the registry. We are using that function for a central driver store. If you have several device path the PDF printer installation fail.
I am using the Wizard. But my problem is solved now. Is a weirder problem.
In our central drivestore contains a older printer driver its contains a ntprint.inf file. The adobe drivers is trying to use the ntprint.inf in the driver store instead of the local one at c:\windows\inf.
When we removed the driver in our central driver store the install of Adobe acrobat is working.
