Our Creative team maintains InDesign assets in CC libraries for seamless use across locations - works great. Our Sales team wants a list, or directory, of the assets within the libraries for awareness. The "View on Website" screen is perfect, but doesn't work since it can only be shared with Adobe users who are members of the library (not Sales - they can't have direct access to the live InDesign files). We could take screenshots or export PDFs, but since the content of the libraries changes / updates very frequently (daily) this would create too much maintenance work. Is there a way to provide a non Adobe user a live list / directory / thumbnail preview of all assets within a library? Thanks for any ideas!

You can add the Sales team as free users and share the libraries as View Only.

Unfortunately that won't work...someone with View Only permissions can still drag an asset from the library into InDesign, make changes, export, and use without Marketing's approval. We need Sales to be able to see a directory-style list or preview thumbnails of the assets within the library, while not being invited to the library in any capacity so that they don't have access to the live files.

I'm not sure that level of restrictions is possible with CC Libraries. It might be worth contacting Adobe through your Support tab to see if there is something they could do or suggest to make assets truly "view only".
