Disable CC Update

How do we disable CC update?

I built the package with "Disable auto-update for end-users" checked.

Every time a user launches the Creative Cloud app, and there's an update available, it says that there's an update available, and ONLY and UPDATE button. No cancel button.

There's a toggle "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date" but that's pointless because even if you turn it off, YOU CAN'T CANCEL OUT OF THE UPDATE DIALOG BOX.

Ridiculous. So the user can't even run CC desktop to do things like get fonts.

And no, you can't update, because updating requires admin privileges, and my users are not admins.

And no, I am not going to update anyway, as my core software requres a specific version of CC.

Thanks for reaching out to us for this query.

If your users do not have admin rights to update the applications on the machine, you can create and deploy managed packages. This will hide the apps panel from the users and they will not see the updates

 You can also track version upgrades to the apps in a particular package, and plan to deploy those upgrades accordingly.

This is a managed package deployment, and the settings are correct so that this should not happen. There is obviously something else going on.

I am the original poster; I mistakenly replied using my admin account above.

Again, this is a managed package, and the settings are set so that the users should not see the update.
