Hi

Is it possible to download Adobe Creative Cloud updates via AUSST or other method then distribute them via sccm?
I have been looking at RUM but our users can not run this as they do no have admin rights.

We have 100s of PCs that have the Creative Cloud Apps

How do admins update their CC apps?

Hi,

Check the document link here for the full syntax.

"To invoke the update deployment remotely on each client machine, run Remote Update Manager on each client machine. You might use an enterprise deployment tool such as SCCM, ARD, or JAMF Casper Suite for this, or use a batch file that invokes Remote Update Manager on each client machine.
The syntax for Remote Update Manager is as follows

RemoteUpdateManager --proxyUserName= --proxyPassword= --channelIds= --productVersions= --action= --help "

Hi Peter,

The end users don't need to have admin rights.

You can run RUM remotely as as admin to force a check for updates, using a system like SCCM. That check for updates can point to an internal update server created with AUSST.

Use Adobe Remote Update Manager

Except for RemoteUpdateManager the other commands are optional. Basically what you are doing is running RUM on each machine remotely. You could also do it locally on the machine via a Windows command prompt or terminal on the mac.

My understanding is that RUM doesn't support updating Creative Cloud, but does support updating all of the products that Creative Cloud manages.
