electronic signature tracking

New Here ,
Mar 20, 2025 Mar 20, 2025

I was wondering if Adobe has a system for the digital signature system that can track by company/client and have time limits (i.e. 1 year) for a valid signature? What I am looking for is when my company sends out contract documents to our suppliers, I would like a system that can track the signatures of each of our suppliers and have a time limit for how long these documents are valid for and have some sort of notification system indicating the old signature will be expiring soon.

I would prefer not to have to send out the document each time to the suppliers as that can be a hassle for my company’s contract writers, me tracking each supplier and the dates they signed and the suppliers themselves. I would like to be able to database and supply the information to our clients upon request. Is this even a capability Adobe has or will i need to check elsewhere for it?

Hi  @Bleach2,

Thanks for reaching out. Adobe Acrobat Sign offers a comprehensive digital signature system that can meet your needs. Here are some key features that might interest you:

Document Tracking: Adobe Acrobat Sign provides real-time tracking of documents, allowing you to see when a document is sent, opened, and signed. This helps ensure visibility throughout the signing process. More details can be found here: https://adobe.ly/4iDLs4S

Notifications and Reminders: The system can send automatic email reminders and notifications to ensure deadlines are met. Alerts can also be configured for when a document is about to expire. While Adobe Acrobat Sign allows setting expiration dates for signature requests, it does not automatically track the validity period of signed documents. More information is available here: https://adobe.ly/4iIZDpw

Time Limits for Signatures: Expiration dates can be set for signature requests, ensuring that documents are signed within a specified period (e.g., one year). This helps maintain compliance and contract validity. Further details can be found here: https://adobe.ly/4bK5Tee

Centralized Management: Documents and their statuses can be managed from a single, secure location, making it easy to track which documents are out for signature, signed, or awaiting action. More information is available at: https://adobe.ly/4ihCb2P

Reusable Templates: Frequently used forms can be saved as reusable templates, eliminating the need to send new documents repeatedly.
