Hi,

Anyone knows hot to enable the Auto update for all apps on the adobe CC for all computers on the network? i have already configured the package, configured the ServiceConfig.xml to have Selfservice and appsautoupdate both enable. still, these 2 settings ( attached ) are still off. i noticed if i only trigged this manually the feature will work and the apps will update automatically.

How to delpy this to the domain conputers that has Adobe CC?

thanks on advanced

Shadad

Be sure your users can turn it off. Users of certain apps, especially but not only InDesign, will likely be PREVENTED FROM WORKING if uncontrolled updates happen. A strategy needs to be agreed in collaboration with the staff.

End users will be notified about the update before we deploy it to the internal server for clients distribution. vulnerabilities MUST be patched immediately.

Updates will be saved to the internal server and its 100% under our controll.

Thanks for your advise.

Unfortunately, no even work around. I cant really believe a company this big as Adobe cant re design/ patch the app internal config/ commands to have it programmed! No matter what you to trace the change that happen after you trigger that setting you wont found it lol. I have raised couple of Adobe tickets and none help me on that point.
you cant imagine how many Adobe app vulnerabilities me and my Adobe team admins got every couple of months for Adobe products. its like a broken ship add to that the users for these Adobe on my Org is over 1 thousand users.

I will let you know if i manage it somehow 🙂

Hi MATT5C4A

This is expected behavior; the end users must switch on the Auto-update from CCDA.

This is also available on our public KB - https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-self-service-policies.html#for-admins

Please look under - AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE ALL APPLICATIONS.

Regards

Rohit Pandita
