Earlier today, we shipped some minor but important improvements to setting up SSO in the Adobe Admin Console.

The updated workflow simplifies setting up a directory and also greatly reduces the time required for setting up directories, by removing the process to get the directory approved by Adobe. The enhanced SAML integration, now supports SHA-2 certificates and both CA and self-signed certificates. All new directories now use SHA-2 certification. You can migrate domains from your older SHA-1 directories to the new SHA-2 directories, by using the Domain Migration process.

To create an integration with your IdP, you now have two simple options. Use one of the following to generate the metadata file from your IdP console.

  • Download a metadata file
  • copy the ACS URL and Entity ID

Once done, upload your IdP-generated metadata file in the Adobe Admin Console and you’re done!

For more information, see “Creating Directories” in Set up Identity.
