Error with redemption code, tells me problem on Adobe's end?

I'm having a problem with my redemption code. When I type it in and click "Activate Membership," it tells me there is a problem on Adobe's end and to try again later. Retried it and it keeps giving me the same error. I got the redemption code from my school's website after I signed up for a one-year license, everything works okay when I sign up on Adobe until I try to activate the redemption code.
