My Adobe Acrobat was given to me when I received my first laptop at work, however, I'm now transitioning to another laptop, and I want to make sure I can grab the serial number prior to having this current machine reformatted. I was able to find my serials inside Photoshop/Illustrator easy enough, however I can't seem to locate it within my version of Acrobat 9. Is this possible?
I could try to track down the box/sleeve that the disc came in, but I wanted to see if I can do it easily within the program first before embarking on a month-long quest to find the missing box/sleeve.
Thank you!
On a related note, the serial I have from Photoshop contains an extra four digits than the same serial I have from Illustrator: is this anything I should be worried about?

Often (and I don't know about Illustrator) the serial number shown on screen is incomplete - enough for Adobe to check, not enough for you to reinstall. (This is to stop someone walking up to your computer and walking off with your serial number!)
