Inflexible license terms

Does anyone else find Adobe's inflexible license terms utterly infuriating and out of step with the rest of the world? I'm locked in for an entire year on all my licenses. Now, rather than reducing my licenses, I'll be inclined to cancel all of them on pricipal.
