iOS Intel. Latest Big Sur update.
After downloading the my Adobe Cloud package, opening the downloader, waiting for 2 hours, opening the zip file, and greenlighting the installer, everything comes to a halt when the installer says "An error occured during the installation. The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that cause the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
There is no error code that I can see. What do I do?
Does the last sentence mean I should contact Adobe, or contact Apple?

This does not look like Adobe's Creative Cloud installer, so far as I know. Something called NICH Mac Lab. Is NICH your employer/school? If so, they have an enteprise account, and they made this installer for you; and it is your own company/school tech support you must contact. If you downloaded this stuff from the internet, please give the address (web page) where it is found.
Please don't say you are running iOS, it will confuse them very much because iOS runs only on iPhone and iPad. You are running macOS.
