I work as part of a large team that uses CC - about 75 people. We are looking to install updates across the team (we haven't updated since our initial install in 2015). Our plan is to update a pilot group of about 6 staff to ensure there are no issues with the updates and our work. Would this cause any compatibility issues with the other users that haven't been updated? The primary programs used are Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Some folks do use premiere pro and after effects as well, but are in the pilot group and likely wouldn't be sharing files.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
The main concern there would be InDesign. You can save as a more backwards compatible version and there is the option to use IDML as a format. See Save documents in InDesign
For Premiere be aware of the change in support for Dolby codecs Adobe Creative Cloud apps use native OS support for Dolby
For Illustrator and Photoshop you have a lot of options for saving in older formats and you will be warned when saving in the latest format of PSD and AI regarding compatibility
