Is there a way to prevent Adobe Application Manager from popping up when launching Lightroom 5?

I have packaged Creative Cloud for an enterprise deployment (higher education). All the applications appear to work as expected on an unprivileged user account, but when I launch Lightroom 5, I'm prompted to sign in to my Creative Cloud, something that's not desirable at this stage. I want the students to be able to sign in if they want to, not being forced to. If they don't have an Adobe ID, they'll get confused. So far, I haven't been able to find any other application that prompts the same way. The package was built using CC Packager on OS X 10.8.5 and deployed to an OS X 10.10 machine.
