licensing question - Do I get that correctly?

Looking for some clarification re. Adobe soft using politics. I'm not too sure if I got that correctly.

  • Creative-Cloud can be installed on more than 1 computer
  • Cloud-based applications (e.g. Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator etc.) can also be installed on more than 1 computer
  • When I am logged in onto my Creative Cloud account, I can be logged in on two devices at the same time (so the licence is active on two devices)- And I can use the app (have it turned on simultaneously) on one computer only (using my account). Let's say - can I have a Photoshop on in 1 computer and Illustrator on the other one?

Do I get that correctly?

I hope I have covered everything below, if not please let me know 🙂

  • The activation of the subscription is not app-based it is device-based, which means you can activate the subscriptions on two machines only.
  • Downloading the apps is not related to activation. Hence, it's your choice if you want to download a few apps on one machine and others on another, or all on both machines.
  • You can use one machine out of the two activated at a time, according to the terms of the use.
  • If in future you ne

Hi there,

Yes. You can download and install Creative Cloud desktop applications on multiple computers, regardless of the operating system. However, activation is limited to two machines per individual associated with the membership, and you may not use the software on these devices simultaneously.

See the Licenses and Terms of Use | Adobe for more information. Learn how to Activate and deactivate Adobe â€‹Creative Cloud license on a machine.

Hi Bani thanks for replay can you clarified something for me,

Got a few questions though.
What you mean by "software"? Is it all aplications (like all apps that i can use with my "all in one" license)

Or is it just one app (like lets say i may open on one computer Photoshop and second one Illustrator)?

Another issue. If i can't do it in the way described above. Can I/or do I have to buy additional license for my account?

  • If in future you need to use the apps on a third machine, you can simply deactivate the apps from one machine and activate them on the third, you don't need to buy another license. To know how please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html.
  • However, if you have to use all the machines simultaneously, then you will have to purchase another license.
