Mac Remote Update Manager version strangeness

I've recently started testing RUM on my admin Mac and PC to get syntax down for pushing commands to computer lab machines (both mac and PC) around campus.  On my PC the version of RUM shows as being 1.9.2.56.  When I run it with the --action=list switch, it lists the necessary updates just fine.

The mac is a different story.  On my mac, the RUM executable seems to be lacking the the --action switch as it throws an error return code (1) anytime I try to run it using that switch on the executable located in /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/CCP/utilities/RemoteUpdateManager/.  Regardless if I sudo or am logged in as root.  Thinking it was just a problem with my Creative Cloud Packager install I removed the Adobe Application Manager folder completely from my machine and re-downloaded and re-installed CCP from the Adobe licensing website.  It had version 1.9.3 listed.  After installing and running CCP it prompted me to upgrade, which I did.  In the end I end up with the same behavior.  RUM executable doesn't work and exits with code (1) when using the --action switch.

In looking through the RemoteUpdateManager.log in ~/Library/Logs I found that the version of the RemoteUpdateManager listed is 1.5, which I'm assuming is the reason for the problem I'm running into.  If I do "Get Info" on the executable in the aforementioned directory it shows a version of 1.9.2.56.  Something isn't jiving here and I'm not 100% sure what that is.  Any help is appreciated.

And nevermind.  I found an answer to my own question.  When I deployed an old package to my Admin mac while testing an install package, it dropped the 1.5 version of RemoteUpdateManager in my /usr/sbin directory.  After I deleted the old version from the /usr/sbin directory I was able to run RemoteUpdateManager from /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/CCP/utilities/RemoteUpdateManager/ and it listed the proper 1.9.2.56 version and the --action switch did work as expected.  I accidentally did a ./RemoteUpdateManager --action instead of just RemoteUpdateManager after I'd done a cd down to the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/CCP/utilities/RemoteUpdateManager/ and it worked fine.  That led me to look in /usr/sbin to see if a different RemoteUpdateManager application was living there and sure enough, there it was.  I'll leave this here instead of deleting the topic just in case anyone else runs into this problem.

The new version of RUM is now part of CCP but it can also be downloaded from here.
