Hi there,

I work at a company who have an adobe membership, they are employing a new member of staff who will be using the software so we need another license. I have been asked to look into the cost of this,
What is the most cost effective way to do this?

Create a whole new login/membership or add a license to the existing account login - if that's possible!?

Thanks,

Cath

@CaffY

it's not economy that leads enterprises and teams to use those plans.  it's control of the plans.

yes, it's possible to add a license at any time.  (removal can only be done at the end of a license's annual term.)

open the support tab on your admin console > start chat or start case or request expert session.

NOTE - an individual plan MAY be used for a business purpose... a team plan is appropriate where the business is going to (A) pay for the plans and (B) assign or reassign the plan to employees, such as when an employee is replaced due to leaving or moving to a different job

Thanks John.
Just to check why would a Company choose to have cloud for Teams if it's more expensive than having two (or three... or more!) accounts for individuals? Is cloud for teams only more economical if more that 10 people or something? I think individual is £50/month per licence and business £60/month per licence.

Why Teams? Consider what happens when a staff member leaves the company. It's that person's personal account. Your company might use their own company card to pay the account. Then what? Staff member leaves. The company aren't the subscriber. They can't transfer or cancel the plan, or change the payment. Seems a nice gift to the ex-employee. With Teams plan, the company giveth the account, and the company taketh the account.  And can give it to a new hire.
