We want to migrate from Adobe IDs to Federated IDs. So connection and sync with Azure AD is up and running. Now I download the CSV "Edit Identiy Type by CSV" and fill it out for one user as I want to test first.
So the CSV looks like this:
Identity Type,Username,Domain,New Identity Type,New Email,New Username,New Country Code
Adobe ID,name@domain.com,name.com,Federated ID,name@domain.com,name@domain.com,CH
If I try to import this CSV now, I get an error message:
Error parsing data (e.g. invalid Roles or Product Configurations)
Is this because I am trying to use the same Username (and also E-Mail address)? How do I solve this issue?

Hello,
Once the synced started, it will add the users with the federated ID in the admin console and you will get two entries of the same account one with Adobe ID and the second one is the federated ID. The "edit identity type by CSV" will allow you to migrate the licenses and the cloud assets from Adobe to Federated IDs. Please check this help article for more details: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/add-azure-sync.html

Erm... yes, the sync is running and I have two accounts per person, as you mentioned. One Adobe ID with the currently assigned licenses and one with a Federated ID, which was just synced from Azure AD.
Then I try to migrate a test user from Adobe ID to Federated ID, as mentioned in my original post, with the sample csv code.
And when I try to import the csv where "Username", "New Email" and "New Username" are the same, I get the above mentioned error message.
So the question is, if I have the correct syntax for the csv or if it is even possible to do it like this. Basically it seems to me, that I am not really migrating but more merging when I do it like that?

It seems that you have used the "edit user details by CSV" option to make the changes. You can check the bulk operation results in the admin console. The "edit identity type by CSV" will migrate the license and will initiate a process for the users to migrate assets automatically.

Sorry, but if you look at the columns in the example from above, it is definitely not the "Edit user details by CSV". It is "Edit identity type by CSV".
So, if no one can help, I might open an official ticket...
