Package Deployment Help

Hello, I am trying to update your Creative Cloud Products (Photoshop/Bridge/Lightroom/etc) to the 2019 version.  At first, I tried the nice easy update all option through the App (Infinity symbol at the top), but all this did after updating was initiated a bunch of 7 day trials.  So I downloaded a new package following the old way (creating a creative cloud packager through the tools menu, this was before I realized that this was not the right way...), uninstalled the trialed 2019, and installed the new package, only to get 2018.

Then I tried making a new (2nd attempt) package, but that one ultimately failed saying the .pkg could not be verified, so I went through the Security settings and told it to launch it anyway, only for it to ultimately fail.  I have repeated this process a couple of times using different options, and am getting the same results.  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.  I am an education account, running High Sierra. I believe our account is good until Feb 2019.  Is this an account issue (as in I will be able to get 2019 when I renew in Feb), or is it just a technical piece that I am somehow missing?

TLDR, how do I install the latest Photo shop via Admin Console?  The prescribed steps say go through the packages tab, but that is not working.  Appreciate the help.

Ok, I figured it out.  Even though I uninstalled each program, I still had to launch the uninstaller first.  My theory behind that is I needed to clean the Mac equivalent of the Registry Key.  (Not a very heavy Mac user.) . Hope this helps anyone else in this situation.
